Lynda engaged Tim to work on the garden in 2014, and both agreed Tim’s naturalistic style was perfectly suited to Lynda’s eclectic aesthetic.

The brief was to create a romantic garden to suit the Federation era house, that would be an immersive and functional space for guests and weddings. The garden is divided into small rooms with an apple orchard, games lawn, cutting garden and veggie patch where guests are encouraged to harvest produce. 

Throughout the garden plants are allowed to clamber in a sort of “controlled chaos” to give a sense of age, while climbing roses ooze romance. Wine barrels and borders filled with herbaceous perennials complete the look.
